Before fitting batteries or mounting outdoors, inspect the display, wind cups, vane, rain funnel and included brackets. Preserve the shaped inserts and small-part bags. To discuss returning an item, explain whether it remains unused or has been exposed to rain, drilled mounting hardware or outdoor dirt. Report missing or damaged parts specifically, and arrange the next step before sending equipment back.
